## Licenses

Company pesticide licenses in each Pacific Northwest state where it has a location, with the status the issuing agency showed on the date retrieved.

- **Washington** Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) - pesticide licensing: Commercial Applicator company record (sources [2](https://agr.wa.gov/services/licenses-permits-and-certificates/pesticide-license-and-recertification/pesticide-and-spi-licensing/license-search/search-results?search-type=2&id=5677&ts=1791784800)) _Status: Renewed · Number 8577 (designated Commercial Applicator: Kevin Robin Peterson) · Expires 12/31/2026_
- **Idaho** Idaho licenses individual pesticide applicators, not companies, so there is no company license to look up.
- **Cost it points** Advertised license number doesn’t check out: Website footer ‘Pest Control License #88604’ is owner Kurt Treftz’s individual license; WSDA shows its Commercial Applicator status Invalid (‘not a designated Commercial Applicator for any company’). The company’s designated CA is #8577 (sources [30](https://agr.wa.gov/services/licenses-permits-and-certificates/pesticide-license-and-recertification/pesticide-and-spi-licensing/license-search/search-results?search-type=3&id=88604&ts=1791784800)) _Counted in the score: −1_

## Legal and regulatory record

Only resolved government actions count toward the score. Pending lawsuits, private suits and allegations are listed as such; they are allegations, not findings.

- No lawsuits, settlements or enforcement actions are on file.

Two other records (complaint summaries and permits) are on its review page.

## Does it sell door to door?

- Not found: the research didn’t establish door-to-door selling. It isn’t proof that the company never knocks. [Sales evidence](https://handshakereviews.com/companies/cascade-pest-control.md)
