## Contracts and sales practices

- Door-to-door badge: Partial.
- Sales notes: Rated partial because all door-to-door evidence is historical. Door-to-door is a documented Senske residential sales channel: the owner described it in 2014, and Indeed shows ‘Door to Door Sales’ reviews from Spokane Valley, Washington (2015) and Idaho Falls, Idaho (2022). The newest PNW-specific D2D evidence found is May 2022. The current UKG job board (29 openings, checked October 11, 2026) shows inside-sales roles in Coppell, Texas. It also has commissioned, territory-based ‘Outside Sales Representative’ postings in Idaho Falls and Boise, Idaho (posted August 17, 2026; ‘Base Salary plus Uncapped Commission’, ‘assigned geographic area’). Those postings do not mention door-to-door canvassing. 2026 Google reviews in Spokane Valley and Idaho Falls describe commissioned ‘salesman’/‘salesperson’ sign-ups without saying whether they were at the door. The quote form lists ‘Flyer at the Door’ as a lead source, and the terms mention a ‘72 hour right of recession’. Neither proves door knocking. No Washington, Idaho and Oregon solicitor permits were found (would need web search).

- Washington Secretary of State CCFS returned ‘System verification in progress’ and then ‘Too many requests were made. Please wait for 30 minutes and try again.’ on three tries (October 11, 2026), so the SOS filing itself was not read. Update (October 13, 2026, round 2): Washington L&I’s business lookup gives Washington UBI 600 124 706 for SENSKE LAWN & TREE CARE LLC; the SOS filing date and registered agent remain uncaptured.
- Yelp returned HTTP 403 (blocked). Angi’s on-site search returned nothing for ‘Senske’ on October 11, 2026. Thumbtack, Porch, Birdeye and Nextdoor profiles were not found. Update (October 13, 2026, round 2): eight PNW Angi listings were found and loaded (customerReviews[12]-[19]; 115 reviews; the Clarkston Angi listing shows ‘New on Angi’ with no reviews). - Google review counts are for ‘Senske Lawn Care Services - <city>’ listings that cover lawn, tree and pest work, so they are not pest-only. Most excerpts do not say which service was involved and are tagged ‘unclear’.
- BBB ratings and complaint counts are company-wide (Senske Family of Companies HQ profile, which covers corporate-owned locations across 15–16 states). Complaint text does not always give location, and some complaints are from non-PNW brands (e.g. Arbor-Nomics, Georgia).
- Oregon: Barnes Quality Pest Control’s advertised ODA ‘CPO #1003366’ and ‘WCO 100020’ were not found in the ODA pesticide search (by number and by name). The WCO number was not checked with ODFW. Its CCB license 178596 shows ‘Not Active - Expired’.
- Idaho: ISDA’s online lookup is by applicator name/number and does not show employers. Update (October 13, 2026, round 2): ISDA’s Applicator Licensing Guide lists only individual license types (Professional, Dealer, Commercial Apprentice, Private, Chemigation), so there is no company-level Idaho pesticide license to look up. ISDA applicator 96697 (Andrew Spears) is linked to Senske only through WSDA records.
- WSDA company-level license numbers/expiry for the Senske company records are not shown on the public search. Only individual applicator licenses (354, 48281, 78734, 58578, 84889) were captured. The company search lists 15 rows; all 15 were re-confirmed on the page (100 entries per page) on October 11, 2026.
- QualityPro, GreenPro, NPMA membership and BBB Torch awards were not verified (issuer directories need web search to locate). Update (October 13, 2026, round 2): a web search for Senske awards found no QualityPro, Torch or Readers’ Choice result; PCT confirms the 2012 Angie’s List Super Service Award.
- Current (2025–2026) door-to-door activity in the PNW was not confirmed. The newest PNW D2D evidence is a May 2022 Indeed review (Idaho Falls).
- Senske Pest’s earlier Las Vegas operation (2014/2021 articles) and the non-PNW brands were not researched beyond context.
- Verification (October 11, 2026): Google Maps served a limited view (no Reviews tab or counts) to the headless browser on re-fetch, so Google ratings, counts and excerpts were checked against the researcher’s same-day captured review lists, not re-loaded live.
- Legal/regulatory web search (October 12, 2026): AG/settlement/lawsuit, FTC/consent-order/class-action and WSDA/ISDA/ODA pesticide-penalty queries returned no Senske-specific results. - Recent news (2024-2026) found by web search is acquisition/trade coverage only; no 2025-2026 PNW local news about Senske’s service or door-to-door sales was found, so the door-to-door open question remains open.

### Open questions

- Is Senske still selling door to door in Washington, Idaho and Oregon? The newest PNW evidence is a May 2022 Indeed review, so the door-to-door badge was downgraded to “Partial”.
- Which Oregon ODA license covers Barnes Quality Pest Control’s Bend pest work? The CPO #1003366 shown on its website returns ‘No Licenses Found’.
- No Idaho pesticide business/operator license for Senske’s Boise, Idaho Falls or Coeur d’Alene branches was found online. Round 2: ISDA’s licensing guide lists only applicator, dealer, apprentice, private and chemigation license types.
- Google Maps ratings, counts and excerpts were checked against the researcher’s same-day captured review lists, not re-loaded live (Google served a limited view). The Boise ‘Moose’ door-to-door review is therefore the one evidence item the audit cannot match to a cached page.
- Washington Secretary of State (CCFS) filing is still not captured; Washington L&I gives UBI 600 124 706.
- A 2023 D. Conn. trademark case (Black Widow Termite & Pest Control Corp. v. Black Widow Pest Specialist LLC) mentions Senske’s ‘Black Widow Control’ mark in a filing; Senske is not a named party in the search results. Not investigated further.
- 30 of the 115 Angi reviews are dated May 2025, exactly 5 on each of six ‘Approved’ listings (Mukilteo, Spokane Valley, Idaho Falls, Hayden, Yakima, Lakewood), all short and positive; Kennewick and Boise have none.
