Contract terms

Terms as recorded from the linked sources.

Cascade Pest Control 11 terms

  • Main plan ‘Cascade Complete Care’ is ongoing service at monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly visits; ‘Cascade Green Complete Care’ is a monthly organic service. Both include an initial treatment plus ongoing maintenance.11

  • Company guarantee (‘Complete Service Warranty’): re-service at no charge if targeted pests significantly breach defenses between scheduled services (company claim).11

  • Monthly service is required for rodent protection in post-and-pier homes, including mobile homes.11

  • Consumers’ Checkbook (Puget Sound) price comparison puts Cascade’s prices well above the area average.12

  • One Google reviewer mentions a 90-day warranty included in a one-time package (customer report, not published company terms). Separately, a 2-star Google reviewer on the Seattle listing said the company would not return for an ant problem without a monthly contract (see the Seattle review excerpts).9

Review by ‘Nicolas D.’ (Google, Snohomish listing per research-time capture). During verification Google Maps served a limited view that did not show this review, so the source is the Google-review widget on the company homepage, where the same review text appears.

  • Company’s published service-agreement Terms and Conditions (My Service page, ‘Last Updated 6/23/23’): recurring (maintenance) service continues until either party cancels with 30 days’ written notice by USPS or email; the client pays in full for any service not rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice. No minimum term and no early-cancellation fee appear in the published payment and cancellation terms.13

The terms sit in collapsed <details> panels; the cached copy was read with the panels opened. The page index still says ‘[Currently being updated May/June 2023]’. Signed customer agreements were not seen. The same section also says to ‘See specific Cascade agreement’s definitions and limitations of warranty’ and that service-specific terms (e.g. original pricing, target pests) are set per agreement. Verifier re-check October 13, 2026: all quoted terms confirmed verbatim in the raw HTML of a fresh capture.

  • Published terms: on rodent bait-station accounts, a $75 bait-station retrieval fee applies on cancellation unless the stations can be collected at the final service.13

  • Published terms: accounts unpaid after 30 days get a $30 late charge (plus a $30 NSF fee for returned checks and reasonable collection costs); a past-due account is put on hold, which also blocks warranty visits.13

  • Published re-treatment warranty conditions: service maintained without interruption over the previous 4 months, the company’s recommendations followed (e.g. exclusion work for rodent accounts), and the account current. Quarterly plans are ‘normally without warranty’; skipping a service suspends the warranty.13

  • The My Service page’s cancellation section tells customers to call the office to cancel and offers suspending service for up to 6 months instead. The formal terms on the same page require 30 days’ written notice (USPS or email), so the two instructions differ.13

  • Company blog post on Boise/Treasure Valley pest-control costs (pricing ‘as per September 2026’). The ranges are the company’s survey of local Boise-area companies, and the post says Cascade’s prices fall within them (company statement): initial setup for ants and spiders $150-$320; initial rodent setup $150-$425 for most homes; ongoing bi-monthly or quarterly service $120-$150 per visit (for a home up to 3,000 sq ft); one-time home pest service $150-$430.14

Aspen Pest Control 9 terms

  • Terms of Service (updated 2023): cancelling before the end of the initially scheduled services triggers a $250 contract termination fee; later cancellation must be in writing and prior to 30 days of the next scheduled service.8

  • Binding arbitration clause (American Arbitration Association rules, in Vancouver, Washington) in the Terms of Service.8

  • Liability limited to the amount paid; agreement does not cover termites, bed bugs, wildlife, fleas or ticks unless noted.8

  • Late payments: 1.5% monthly finance charge on invoices over 30 days past due; $10 extra for Saturday regular services.8

  • Home Protection Plan is a quarterly (every 90 days) exterior treatment with interior included on request.9

  • Guarantee: unlimited free re-service between regular treatments; one-off treatments typically carry a minimum 30-day guarantee.10

  • Late-arrival promise: next regular service free if technician is late without calling ahead.11

  • Reviewer-reported prices on Angi range roughly $90–$230 per job (e.g. $90, $119, $200, $230).12

  • A 2018 HomeAdvisor reviewer reports a better rate with a contract but says customers are not locked in.13
