Vertex Pest Control 7 terms

  • Residential protection program is quarterly visits backed by a one-year service agreement, with free re-treatment between scheduled visits.11

  • Per the company’s own BBB complaint response (Oct 2024): the contract is for an initial 12-month period, and a customer who cancels early owes 60% of the remaining balance; the complainant was charged a $120 early termination fee.12

  • Pricing is custom-quoted: an initial fee plus monthly or quarterly recurring pricing.13

  • Promotion: 50% off the initial service with a NEW one-year service agreement (quarterly plan); $50 off initial treatment for new customers (not combinable); 10% off quarterly services for active military/veterans; offers listed as expiring 10/31/2026.14

  • Commercial recurring service includes a one-year service agreement with free return treatments between visits.13

  • Gopher control is a one-time service starting at $149, with a 30-day retreatment at a discounted (not free) rate.15

The one complaint (type ‘Order Issues’, status ‘Answered’) says spiders were never controlled, that the company contacted the customer’s daughter about his account, and that he was charged $120 to cancel. The company replied that he never requested a free re-service, that the signed 12-month contract carries an early-cancellation charge of 60% of the remaining balance, and that it contacted the daughter (also a customer, scheduled on the same day) to clarify his concerns.12
