The threads are listed in the On Reddit section. Only post titles and opening text were read; comment threads weren’t fetched yet. Earlier web searches (6 queries, October 12, 2026) surfaced no Reddit threads and no PNW local news about Aptive; results were Aptive’s own pages, Trustpilot and directories. PNW ‘best pest control’ listicles, Nextdoor, Angi/HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, Porch and Birdeye listings were not searched.

- Idaho: ISDA licenses individuals only and searches by name or number. License 61561 (Boise, Professional) is tied to Aptive only by Aptive’s own website, and no ISDA business-level record exists. A name search for the Washington designated CA found no Idaho license.
- Aptive’s licenses page lists Washington 106925, but WSDA shows that license’s Commercial Applicator status as Invalid. WSDA’s current designated CA for Aptive Environmental LLC is 109060. WSDA’s own records conflict on whether the 106925 holder is employed by Aptive (company record lists him; license page says not employed by any company).
- Pennsylvania AG press releases (2019, 2023) now return 404 on attorneygeneral.gov. Their text was verified from Internet Archive snapshots; the original URLs are recorded as the canonical source.
- No Washington, Oregon or Idaho attorney general, WSDA, ODA or ISDA enforcement action against Aptive was found. On October 12, 2026 a PNW-specific search and a national AG-settlement search returned only the Pennsylvania (2019, 2023) and Delaware (2026) actions already recorded. State enforcement databases were not queried directly, so absence is not proven.
- No PNW city solicitor/peddler permit records for Aptive were found online.
- No awards or certifications were verified on an issuer’s site. The ‘2026 Best Overall’ badge on Aptive’s site has no named issuer. BestCompany lists ‘QualityPro Certified: No’. QualityPro/NPMA directories were not checked.
- Moxie v. Nielsen and VonDeylen are ongoing or in arbitration with no final merits outcome. Delaware’s $600,000 settlement: the AG release (re-checked October 12, 2026) still says the settlement was filed in the Court of Chancery ‘requesting an order’; an October 12, 2026 search found no report of court approval and the Chancery docket was not checked, so final entry is unconfirmed.
- HQ: BBB and Oregon SOS show Provo, Utah (4931 N 300 W). Idaho SOS shows an American Fork, Utah principal address. Not resolved.
- No FTC action, consent order or other-state AVC against Aptive surfaced in an October 12, 2026 search beyond the Pennsylvania and Delaware matters. A lawyer-lead site (lawfold.com, ‘Aptive Environmental Lawsuit 2026’, updated May 9, 2026) asserts multiple class actions and state AG complaints but names no cases or courts; not used as a source.
Open questions
- WSDA records conflict on license 106925: Aptive’s company record (CompanyId 633) lists the holder as a company-employed Commercial Operator, but the license page says he is not employed by any company. Aptive’s website still cites 106925 as its Washington Commercial Applicator license.
- WSDA shows the designated CA’s ground insurance for Aptive expiring 11/01/2026 with a lapse alert; re-check license status after Nov 1.
- Idaho license 61561 (individual, Boise) is linked to Aptive only by Aptive’s own licenses page; ISDA does not name an employer.
- Meridian branch phone differs by source: Aptive’s branch page lists 1-458-224-6276 (an Oregon area code); the Google listing shows (208) 718-5584.
- HQ: BBB and Oregon SOS list Provo, Utah; Idaho SOS lists an American Fork, Utah principal address.
- Delaware settlement: court approval was pending as of July 29, 2026; final entry not confirmed.
- The ‘5 PNW branches’ statement in the locations note was not re-verified on the locations index (state pages did not list branches in rendered text); each of the 5 branch pages was confirmed individually.
