Rated partial because all door-to-door evidence is historical. Door-to-door is a documented Senske residential sales channel: the owner described it in 2014, and Indeed shows ‘Door to Door Sales’ reviews from Spokane Valley, Washington (2015) and Idaho Falls, Idaho (2022). The newest PNW-specific D2D evidence found is May 2022. The current UKG job board (29 openings, checked October 11, 2026) shows inside-sales roles in Coppell, Texas. - Current (2025–2026) door-to-door activity in the PNW was not confirmed. The newest PNW D2D evidence is a May 2022 Indeed review (Idaho Falls).
- Senske Pest’s earlier Las Vegas operation (2014/2021 articles) and the non-PNW brands were not researched beyond context.
- Verification (October 11, 2026): Google Maps served a limited view (no Reviews tab or counts) to the headless browser on re-fetch, so Google ratings, counts and excerpts were checked against the researcher’s same-day captured review lists, not re-loaded live.
- Legal/regulatory web search (October 12, 2026): AG/settlement/lawsuit, FTC/consent-order/class-action and WSDA/ISDA/ODA pesticide-penalty queries returned no Senske-specific results. This is a search-level negative only. WSDA/ISDA/ODA enforcement case files are not published in a searchable form and would need public-records requests, so no clean regulatory record is asserted.
- HomeAdvisor: search snippets showed older Senske listings (e.g. a September 2018 review) on HomeAdvisor city pages, but the current Spokane, Hayden and Coeur d’Alene HomeAdvisor pest pages fetched on October 12, 2026 did not list Senske. No HomeAdvisor profile URL, rating or count was captured.
- Recent news (2024-2026) found by web search is acquisition/trade coverage only; no 2025-2026 PNW local news about Senske’s service or door-to-door sales was found, so the door-to-door open question remains open.
- Round 2 (October 13, 2026): F2 complaint record still can’t be scored. All Senske BBB branch profiles (Kennewick, Yakima, Clarkston, Spokane Valley, Coeur d’Alene, Barnes/Bend) roll up to the HQ profile’s 56 complaints, so no PNW-scoped complaint count exists. A national Google review total across the parent’s 16 states and acquired brands was not collected: Google Maps serves the headless browser a limited view, and summing every non-PNW location was out of scope for this round.
- Round 2 (October 13, 2026): Yelp star ratings unverified. Yelp pages return HTTP 403; only search-result titles with review counts were captured.
- Round 2 (October 13, 2026): federal OSHA establishment search returned a ‘confirm you are human’ check, so it was not used. Washington workplace-safety (DOSH) inspections were read from Washington L&I’s business lookup instead (regulatoryAndLegal[2]-[5]); Idaho and Oregon OSHA records were not checked.
- Round 2 (October 13, 2026): employee platforms. A web search found no RepVue or Comparably profile; ZipRecruiter (5 quiz responses) and PayScale (2 survey responses) samples are too small to record. Indeed and Glassdoor remain the only employee ratings.
- Round 2 (October 13, 2026): HomeAdvisor search snippets mention a ‘Senske Services of Coeur d’Alene’ listing (5.00 from 3 reviews), but the current Coeur d’Alene, Hayden and Spokane HomeAdvisor pages loaded on October 13, 2026 did not show Senske, so nothing was recorded.
- Round 2 (October 13, 2026): no Spokesman-Review, Tri-City Herald, KREM, KHQ, Idaho Statesman, East Idaho News, Yakima Herald or Lewiston Tribune article about Senske’s service or sales practices was found by web search; no lawsuit naming Senske was found either (search-level negatives only).
Open questions
- Is Senske still selling door to door in Washington, Idaho and Oregon? The newest PNW evidence is a May 2022 Indeed review, so the door-to-door badge was downgraded to “Partial”.
- Which Oregon ODA license covers Barnes Quality Pest Control’s Bend pest work? The CPO #1003366 shown on its website returns ‘No Licenses Found’.
- No Idaho pesticide business/operator license for Senske’s Boise, Idaho Falls or Coeur d’Alene branches was found online. Round 2: ISDA’s licensing guide lists only applicator, dealer, apprentice, private and chemigation license types.
- Google Maps ratings, counts and excerpts were checked against the researcher’s same-day captured review lists, not re-loaded live (Google served a limited view). The Boise ‘Moose’ door-to-door review is therefore the one evidence item the audit cannot match to a cached page.
- Washington Secretary of State (CCFS) filing is still not captured; Washington L&I gives UBI 600 124 706.
- A 2023 D. Conn. trademark case (Black Widow Termite & Pest Control Corp. v. Black Widow Pest Specialist LLC) mentions Senske’s ‘Black Widow Control’ mark in a filing; Senske is not a named party in the search results. Not investigated further.
- 30 of the 115 Angi reviews are dated May 2025, exactly 5 on each of six ‘Approved’ listings (Mukilteo, Spokane Valley, Idaho Falls, Hayden, Yakima, Lakewood), all short and positive; Kennewick and Boise have none. The pattern suggests a review-request campaign, but nothing on the pages says how they were collected.
